    Description

Some people confuse Blue Flowers Earl Grey with blue tea. This tea is not blue tea. It is made by blending high-quality black tea leaves grown in the Nilgiri region of India with blue mallow flowers and bergamot grown in Italy. It gets its name, Blue Flowers Earl Grey, because the Earl Grey blend uses black tea leaves with strong notes and body, making it a special tea.

The British are not tea producers, but Earl Grey tea spread throughout the world from them. Because India was under their colonial rule, they blended some high-quality teas with bergamot, creating unique blends for the tea market. Unintentionally, they made a significant contribution to tea culture. Customs like tea time and tea with milk originated from them. Earl Grey is sometimes incorrectly spelled as "Early Grey" or "Earl Gray".

    What is Earl?
Earl is a title of Scandinavian and Anglo-Saxon origin meaning "tribal chief." Its use ended in Scandinavia during the Middle Ages, but continued in England. It ranks between viscount and marquis, corresponding to the count title in continental Europe.

    What does early mean?
Early means early, old, first, or primitive. As an adverb, it means untimely or premature.

    Ingredients: Black tea, mallow, bergamot

    Weight: 50 grams

Brewing Technique: It is recommended to add 1-2 teaspoons to approximately 250 ml of water at 85°C – 100°C (excluding tap water and chlorinated water) and let it steep for 4-5 minutes. (The same tea can be brewed twice.)

Important Note: Like other teas, black teas can have different brewing methods depending on their quality. The key point here is not to pour boiling water over the tea. Do not put the tea directly into boiling water. After the water boils, wait at least 1 minute for the boiling point to decrease slightly. Then, gently place the tea on top of the water, close the lid, and do not open and check for at least 15 minutes. Do not stir with a spoon or anything else. Absolutely do not add baking soda, sugar, etc. to the teapot.

Shipping: 10% discount for in-person pickups. Shipping within 3-5 days of order date.

    Origin: India

Storage Conditions: Store in a cool, dry, and odorless place. Prefer wooden boxes, glass jars, or special airtight metal containers. Airtight metal or ceramic containers generally give the best results. Plastic can also be used if necessary.
